VFAA – AGM and Christmas Lunch

Yesterday the VFAA held their Annual General Meeting, Christmas lunch and in the afternoon we all enjoyed a wonderful demonstration by Jodi Forbes.

Our Treasurer, Maxine Webb, of many years and a long-time member of the VFAA as well as 20 years on the committee, has retired from the role. Josie, our President, presented Maxine with a Life Membership Award, a bouquet of flowers and a yummy looking box of Ferrero Rocher! Thank you Maxine for all the hours you have spent keeping the finances in check and also for the long journey from Wangaratta for our meetings.

Josie gave us an insight about her visit to the Manchester Interflora World Cup she attended in September.

Noreen demonstrated a Mark Pampling inspired “stand” which will be our February workshop, plus a Himmeli design which both she and Josie used in their Christmas arrangements.

I will attach Jodi’s demonstration designs in another post.
