These are the arrangements the members designed from their “Surprise Christmas Boxes” during our AGM & Christmas Party.

On Wednesday 27th November the VFAA held their AGM and Christmas Party.
A few of the members added to the Christmas spirit by designing an arrangement to place round the room.
Jan showed the members photographs of the designs from the AFAA Southeastern Splendour Conference held in September, also the” Surprise Impose” materials the two-person groups had to use to make a structure – this caused some laughs when a pool noodle and tomato sticks were shown!!
After the AGM we had a delicious finger food lunch followed by “Surprise Christmas Boxes” (which the committee had put together.) I will publish the designs from the boxes in the next post.

11.30am – 12.30pm – SHARED LUNCH – Attendees please bring a plate of savoury food.  (Oven and Microwave available)                   Committee will provide dessert

12.30pm -2.30pm Everyone to participate in a Christmas Impose Surprise Box                    (pls bring toolbox)

2.30pm – 3pm Clean Up and Depart

There will be a Christmas Raffle and Trading Table.  So remember to bring extra change!

The Committee will design Christmas arrangements around the room. If anyone would like to bring along a design – you are most welcome, but please supply your own staging.

TIME: 9:30 for 10:00 start        .

SUPPLIED: All materials for the Himmeli structure.

The individual blocks can be arranged in various numbers and patterns.

BYO: Either a single or double pronged stand, long necked bottle/vase, or a modern candlestick. Fresh or dried floral material, lightweight with small stems.
